Players of the Week (9/18/24)
The following players have earned POW honors. Links to their articles are attached to the conference name when available. Previous winners will be retained at the bottom of the article. The AVCA Player of the Week is also included below.
With respect to the ASC naming the same two players as PoW for their first three weeks, straight…are we sure everyone is alive there? Wasn’t there a company where someone was dead in a cubicle for 4-days before anyone noticed. Can we check the cubicles at the ASC offices? Look, if those are the two best players each week then great. I will say who a team plays should have a role in the awards. The tougher the opponents, there should be more respect for performances against them.
AVCA going with Whitewater for two out of three weeks. Great players playing for a great team.
Only C2C and SCIAC have not had a repeat winner. Different ways of going about this stuff.
