Platteville downs #7 Hope

UW-Platteville defeated No. 7 Hope in four sets today at the Barker Chevrolet Classic II at Illinois Wesleyan University. The Pioneers’ win seems emphatic as the fourth set ended 25-13. A quality win against a top opponent before Platteville, winner of seven straight, plays at No. 10 UW-Whitewater on Tuesday. A win over the Warhawks and Platteville (13-6) could be playing for the WIAC regular-season crown against UW Oshkosh on Oct. 21. More on that when and if it happens.
