Pitt Panthers Football 10/24/24 Against Syracuse Preview

The Pitt Panthers continue to rise in the polls. Yet with another Acc team on the schedule what we can expect for this weeks matchup?

The Pitt Panthers moved up to the 20th rank in the polls this week which is an improvement of two spots from last week. They are currently 6-0 and 2-0 in the ACC.

Last game out for Pitt was a 17-15 close game win against California. Eli Holstein went 14/28 passing for 133 yards, no touchdowns and two interceptions. Desmond Reid rushed for 120 yards on 16 carries and had a pair of touchdowns.

This weeks opponent is Syracuse. They are 5-1 and 2-1 in the ACC. They are currently on a three-game winning streak after a 24-17 win against NC State in their last game. They are also 1-0 in matches against the top 25 this season with a win at UNLV.

Last year Syracuse won this matchup 28-13. Yet I don’t think they win this one. I’m predicting Pitt wins 24-20.
