Pick your movie of the week: Stanley Kubric (Apr 12-18/20)

Have we not done a week on Kubric?? I can’t say he’s my favourite director, but the majority of movie fans and critics find him a complete genius, and I have to agree. Watching his movies and listening to people talk about them is so interesting and a lot of fun. These are the four that I tend to hear talked about most, so they’re probably good ones for us to pick from. Which one would you make this week’s movie of the week?

2001: A Space Odyssey(1968)

A Clockwork Orange (1971)

The Shining (1980)

Full Metal Jacket (1987)
