Pick your movie of the week: Santa in Movies (Dec 27 – Jan 2 /21)

There are a lot to choose from, but I think all of these deserve to be mentioned in the conversation of best movie Santa. I feel a little bad about not including the one from Ernest Saves Christmas (1988). Not because it’s a good movie, but because he’s a great Santa. Anyway, which one’s lap would you rather sit on, or at least which one you’d rather watch in a movie:

Miracle on 34th Street (1947)Edmund Gwenn

Santa Claus Is Comin’ to Town (1970)Mickey Rooney

Miracle on 34th Street (1994)Richard Attenborough

The Santa Clause (1994)Tim Allen

Elf (2003)Ed Asner

The Christmas Chronicles (2018)Kurt Russell
