Pick your movie of the week: Forgotten films of 2000 (Aug 27–Sept 2, 2023)

I was living in Fredericton in the year 2000, and I can remember my experiences seeing greats like Traffic, High Fidelity, Cast Away, Remember the Titans, and Erin Brockovich. Some that led the pack at the box office were Gladiator, X-Men, and How the Grinch Stole Christmas. But, like in every year, there are really good movies that get forgotten in time. The following are all films I enjoyed a lot, but that I don’t hear too many people talk about today. Pick which you would choose to be our movie of the week and vote with a comment:

28 Days (Comedy/Drama: Sandra Bullock, Viggo Mortensen, Alan Tudyk)

The Contender(Drama/Thriller: Joan Allen, Gary Oldman, Jeff Bridges)

The Whole Nine Yards(Comedy/Crime: Bruce Willis, Matthew Perry)
