Pick your movie of the week: B&W Christmas (Dec 26/21 – Jan 1/22)

With last week’s discussions on classics, I got the idea to close the Christmas season with some black and white favourites as nominees. The following are also all from the 40’s. Take your pick:

The Shop Around the Corner (1940) {James Stewart, Margaret Sullavan, Frank Morgan}

Holiday Inn (1942) {Bing Crosby, Marjorie Reynolds, Fred Astaire}

The Bishop’s Wife (1947) {Cary Grant, Loretta Young, David Niven}
