Pick your movie of the week: A24 (May 28 – June 3, 2023)

A24 is a great production company that supports independent films. Some companies, especially when making big budget films, keep inserting themselves into the process, making decisions for the director and telling them what to do. A24 lets them pursue their own vision. Some notable titles to come from them since 2013 are Room (2015), Moonlight (2016), Everything Everywhere All at Once (2022), and Uncut Gems (2019). But the top three highest rated A24 movies on Rotten Tomatoes are our nominees for this week’s movies. Take your pick and comment with a vote:

Lady Bird (2017)

Eighth Grade (2018)

Marcel the Shell with Shoes On (2021)
