Phillies Release New City Connect Jersey

City connect jerseys are back. This time it’s a new offering from the Philadelphia Phillies. The jersey is blue and yellow and takes inspiration from the city of Philadelphia’s flag.

Overall, it looks pretty good. It’s a cool look with a good color scheme. It’s got the Liberty bell logo, which is nice, and it looks good visually.

The only problem is no red. Sure, maybe it’s meant to be a different than the everyday jersey, but it just feels like without red it’s missing something. Like when I think of the Phillies I think of the red and white so by not having red it isn’t going to immediately come to mind of like oh that’s a Phillies jersey. I would probably grade it a solid B though.
