Penguins Continue to Rack up Milestones

The Pittsburgh Penguins had a great game last night besting the New York Islanders 7-0. During the game they reached several milestones. Kris Letang had five assists in a single period, the only defenseman in NHL history to score five points in one period.

Then Evgeni Malkin took sole possession of second place for goals all-time among Russian skaters.

Valtteri Puustinen added a goal, which was his first NHL goal of his career, which concluded the milestones for that night. Sidney Crosby however did not have a point as he chases the all-time NHL scoring leader’s 12th place. Stil a lot to be proud of Penguins fans in a dominating win!
