Pan am team, skating and more
Now that the Olympic season is on I will be having some opinions on skating also. Gym is first though so here we go.
The Junior Pan Am team is Kyla Ross, Sabrina Vega, Aly Raisman and Bridget Caquatto. Rumor has it that Joydyn is injured and doesn’t want to risk it. Probably a good choice.
Madison Kocian and Morgan Smith are going to Top Gym.
Shannon Miller had her baby. A son John Rocco long Italian last name. Congrats to her Looks like People stole the info from Twitter. I guess Shannon didn’t whore out ehr kids at birth like Moceanu did.
IG magazine has some results for some recent gymnastics competitions up.
Final 1-Kim Bui and Matthias Fahrig (30.400) 2-Elisabeth Seitz and Thomas Taranu (29.700). 3-Ariella Käslin and Niki Böschenstein placed third (29.675)
Daine Dos Santos tested positive for adiuretic furosemide seriously FIG and IOC if you are going to push these girls like you are doing don’t be surprised if they are using things to lose weight.
Some Skating and gymnastics ridiculous show thing took place a few days ago. The usual suspects were there (Nastia, Shawn and a Hamm) OMG these things can get on TV but real competitions cannot? Sad.

On to skating…..
Someone from the Michelle Kwan forum posted some articles about 2006 when Michelle Kwan was injured but picked to be on the US team anyway. These articles are hilarious. Emily Hughes Olympic Champion? (LMAO) Why do reporters even bother writing about skating. They just come off sounding like idiots.
Was E.M. Swift on crack then?
According to E.M Swift Michelle was in the way and keeping the kids down (if you mean they couldn’t beat her as they were in her way then yes) Really because Michelle hasn’t been skating for the last 4 years and I am pretty sure she didn’t stop Mirai Nagasu from 5 of her 6 triple jumps getting downgraded to doubles at the recent Cup of China (she also had over rotated edge calls on both flutzes (lutz from the wrong side of the skate) and negative GOE (grade of execution)on all 7 jumping passes in her LP (falling from 1st in the SP to seventh overall)
