Ouija (2014)

Director: Stiles White

Starring: Olivia Cooke, Daren Kagasoff, Douglas Smith

A group of friends must confront their most terrifying fears when they awaken the dark powers of an ancient spirit board.

A supernatural tale realistically done, with a theme we can all relate to: losing someone we love. Thanks to a good cast and a believable plot, this was scary as hell. Great visuals, as well.

The film was panned by critics, but was a huge box office success, earning almost $104 million on a $5 million budget. Hmm, that says a lot about critics, doesn’t it?
