Oshkosh new #1
For the first time in school history, UW Oshkosh is the number one team in the country. The Titans (14-0) received half of the 24 first-place votes to nip No. 2 Juniata (11-1) by two poll points (572-570). Juniata, last week’s No. 1, was swept in an epic 186-point match by No. T4 Wash U (11-2) this weekend. No. 3 Emory (10-2) and No. T4 Ohio Northern (12-1) round out the top five. The other 12 first-place votes were split among Juniata (6), Emory (2), Ohio Northern (2) and Wash U (2). See the entire poll here. Our top 10s were close again.
Oshkosh becomes the 10th school to be ranked No. 1 in the 17+ years of the AVCA poll.
