The 2017 NCAA Championship field has been announced.

Regional hosts are Illinois Wesleyan, Northwestern, Otterbein, Emory, Stevenson, Clarkson, Johnson & Wales and Southwestern.

The NCAA selection committee and I disagreed on five teams.

My preferred list of 64 teams included La Verne, Mary Hardin-Baylor, Mount Union, Wisconsin-Eau Claire and Wisconsin-Whitewater. The NCAA chose Babson, Ithaca, Swarthmore, Vassar and Wellesley instead.

I’ll get to your reactions and my own reaction later today/tonight.
