My Inspiration for June 2025
This June I lived almost exclusively in music and poetry, carried by the melodies and verses like on some sweet breeze of summer – the month passed like a dream. And how many beautiful gifts it gave me! Beauties and tenderness that my hungry soul craved. Some things are ending and some things are blooming in the garden of life. These warm summer nights are impossibly dreamy. I followed the moon in the sky, when it was big, yellow and full, and now when it’s a crescent. Early morning at the river, feeling completely serenity and wonder of nature. Picking shells and pressing flowers. Tiny pink roses. Concerts. Live music. Strapless dresses and platform shoes. Enjoying myself to the maximum – at last! Fun has come my way. I revisited some old favourites such as the film “Faustine and the Beautiful Summer” (1972) with the beautiful Muriel Catala, and made some new favourites, such as my new girl-crush Sabrina Carpenter. How did her song “Espresso” not come to my radar earlier!? Love it!!
“Our life is no dream, but it should and will perhaps become one.”
(Novalis)
“The word intimacy comes from the Latin root , which means your interiority, your innermost core. Unless you have something there, you can’t be intimate with anybody. You cannot allow intimum, intimacy, because they will see the hole, the wound, and the pus oozing out of it. They will see that you don’t know who you are […], that you have not even heard your own song, that your life is a chaos, not a cosmos. Hence the fear of intimacy. The reason is thinking there is nothing to share. Who wants to show one’s inner poverty? One should be capable of being alone, utterly alone, and yet tremendously blissful. Then you can love. Then your love is no longer a need but a sharing.”
(Osho,
