Music Video of the Week | “In My Zone” by Robbie Russell
Robbie Russell is officially back in his zone with a brand new visual for his I Swear It Flows assisted track, “In My Zone.” The Virginia artist takes us on a drunken journey as he disconnects from reality and explores the effects of alcohol. Shot by Narrow Line Films, the video features a delirious Robbie in a dark, empty space accompanied by the beautiful Ally Lewber playing the lead female role. The singer/rapper experiments with a variety of flows and delivers a catchy yet fitting hook, while the production is handled by Virginia producer Dinuzzo. After keeping relatively quiet since the release of his heavy-hitting EP “Self(ish),” Robbie makes a strong comeback with this latest single and shows that he is an artist to keep an eye on in 2017.
