The Result

So after handing in my dissertation last September, I have finally got the email and result of my MSc Performance Analysis degree:

I am of course really happy with the result since I worked really hard during the taught modules (“you haven’t lived until the cleaners come in!”) and especially the hours I put in for the dissertation.  I was on the borderline Distinction so the dissertation must have been a Distinction to make the overall degree a Distinction.  I later got the official letter from Cardiff Met:

So What Now?

I got the email on the first day of the Rhodes 2014 beach volleyball training camp (a post to follow), the players and coaches congratulated me and asked so what now?  For me, nothing really changes.  The end goal has always been to get a performance analyst job and I have been proactively looking since January.  The only thing that has changed is now I can now update my CV and change “awaiting grades” to “Distinction”.
