MR. BVNGLE + MAX CAVALERA – Territory (live) | Sonic Temple Festival (2024)

“Territory” is Sepultura’s fifth official single, and the second of the three to be taken from the album Chaos A.D., released in 1993. Like most of the band’s singles, the song is one of the band’s best-known songs and remains a concert staple to this day. The artwork for the single is not easily discernible. It depicts a monument of some sort. The image is overlaid with the band’s thorned ‘S’ logo.

Let’s keep this shit going, people

Sao Paulo This is our fucking territory

The unknown man Speaks to the world Sucking your trust A trap in every word

War for territory Let me hear you (War for territory)

Choice control Behind propaganda Poor information To manage your anger

War for territory Let me hear you (War for territory)

Dictators’ speech Blasting off your life Rule to kill the urge Dumb asshole speech

Years of fighting Teaching my son To believe in that man Racist piece of shit

Racist ground will live Shame and regret Of the pride You’ve once possessed

War for territory I can’t hear you (War for territory)

Show the world, Sao Paulo Un, deux, trois, quatre!
