More Costco Spring/Summer 2025 Items

May 21, 2025
6 min read

I recently wrote a list about discounted items at Costco in May and June (Savings at Costco for May/June 2025) as well as some items to buy for the summer season (Summer 2025 Items to Buy at Costco).

There seems to always be more options at the store and here are some other items taken from a few lists to buy this spring and summer. I did not include items that were in the previous two posts.

1. Chicken Enchiladas

This deli item consists of black beans, rotisserie chicken, jalapenos, bell peppers, rice, tortillas, and cheese. They can be baked in the oven for a convenient meal.

I would not eat this item but I trust that it is high quality. I noted that it contains the rotisserie chicken, one of the ways in which the store repurposes the chickens not sold within the two hours window (Facts About the Costco Rotisserie Chickens).

2. Mango Dole Whip

A variation on the Disney pineapple dole whip, this mango dole whip is sold in boxes of eight 3.6-ounce containers.

I don’t know how this treat differs from sorbet but apparently it is very popular. I read some comments saying that the mango variety is better than the pineapple one. It sounds refreshing for summer

3. Nestle Tollhouse Cookie Ice Cream Sandwiches

Another frozen treat suggested to buy this spring are these ice cream sandwiches. Boxes contain 12 sandwiches, each of which is made from two tollhouse cookies surrounding vanilla frozen dairy dessert.

I remember when chipwiches were the treat that everyone wanted from the school cafeteria. As I’ve mentioned several times, I am not a huge fan of ice cream novelties. However, I did always prefer these treats to traditional ice cream sandwiches with the chocolate wafers. It seems that the quality has gone down, as they are now made with frozen dairy dessert rather than with ice cream. Nevertheless, they are a good portion controlled treat to keep in the freezer.

4. Late July Mexican Street Corn Chips (on two lists)

These chips, made of corn tortilla chips flavored with buttermilk, sour cream, and lime have been compared to Cool Ranch Doritos in flavor but with healthier ingredients. Bags are 24 ounces.

I am not a big chip eater but these sound pretty good. Although I generally preferred the Nacho cheese Doritos, on occasion I wanted to have the Cool Ranch ones. I still remember when I was a kid and my mom was at the grocery store. I randomly had a craving for Cool Ranch Doritos and wished I had asked her to buy them (this was pre cell phone days). She actually arrived home with them, saying she just had a “feeling.” It is a funny memory. Anyway…I would be tempted to try these chips.

5. Mamba Beach Sticks

A sweet treat for the warmer months are these chewy, fruity candies. The 35.7-ounce bags contain a variety of flavors (strawberry; banana; orange; lemonade).

Unfortunately, these candies are not kosher. I don’t each much non-chocolate candy but occasionally want a fruity candy. I us d to really like Starbursts, Swedish Fish, and Sour Patch Kids. I don’t think I would eat too many at once but would like to be able to have a few.

6. One Reese’s Protein Bars

These high protein, low sugar bars come in boxes of 16 bars. They get positive reviews for both taste and nutrition.

I rarely eat protein or nutrition bars but these look and sound pretty good. They actually come in the shape of the candy cups. If they taste similar to the peanut butter flavor in the candy, they could be a great way to get protein.

7. Sargento Fun Balanced Breaks

A snack recommended for kids for the summer are these 2-ounce snack trays in two varieties. Packages contain four of each of two varieties. One pack contains cheddar cheese, fruit snacks, and mini chocolate chip cookies. The other contains colby jack cheese, fruit snacks, and honey grahams.

These sound like a lot of fun for kids because they contain multiple items. Some kids in my family enjoy eating a variety of items out of muffins tins for meals or snacks. This Costco item sounds like a convenient way for kids to eat a relatively healthy and varied snack.

8. Pita Bread

A new item in the Costco bakery made it onto the recommended list for the spring. The soft pita bread comes in nine rounds. Apparently, it also freezes well.

I would be interested in trying this new product. I rarely eat it, but I do like pita bread, either with hummus or as the bread for a sandwich. I am not surprised that it freezes well LINzk.

9. Oat Haus Granola Butter

This item is flavored like cookie dough and is vegan, gluten free, and nut free. Its taste has been compared to that of Toll House cookie dough. Jars are 27 ounces. It is sold primarily in the Midwest and only planned to be available for three months (through July).

This item sounds delicious and, if sold near me, I would like to try. When I saw the name of the product, I had no idea what it was so it seems like a bit of a misnomer.

10. Kirkland Parmesan & Cracked Black Pepper Sausages

These cooked chicken sausages are high in protein and do not contain antibiotics. There are 18 links per package. Suggestions for use include as pizza toppings or as an addition to pasta dishes.

Definitely not for me but I imagine people may like to grill them during the summer.

11. Chamberlain Coffee

Select Costco stores in LA are selling these 12 packs of canned coffee. Cans are 12-ounces and come in two flavors (Vanilla Oatmilk Latte; Cinnamon Bun Oatmilk Latte). They are plant-based, dairy-free, and made with 100% arabica coffee.

I am not a coffee drinker but these flavors do sound good.

12. Mochi Foods Mochi Pancake & Waffle Mix

A new item to Costco is this Mochi Pancake & Waffle Mix. It consists of rice flour, tapioca starch, baking powder, salt, and vanilla flavoring.

I tend to see mochi ice cream advertised a lot but have never had it. I wouldn’t think to try this mix but reviews say that it adds a sweetness and chewiness to the breakfast baked goods that is not typically present with regular mix. I stick with frozen pancakes and waffles for convenience but I am curious about this mix

13. The Spice House Lakeshore Shallot & Herb Seasoning

A limited item that is recommended is this seasoning. Costco is selling an exclusive larger size bottle (8 ounces) of the seasoning that tastes of chives, scallions, green peppercorns, and shallots, with no additives or fillers. Recommendations for use include on eggs, vegetables, salmon, and turkey sandwiches. It is being sold in the Midwest.

I don’t add many spices to foods but this variety sounds good, especially on fish. I wonder if it would also be good in a salad dressing or as part of a marinade for a cooked pasta dish or a cold pasta salad.

14. Authentic Asia Mango on a Stick

Another frozen item suggested for the spring are these sticks with frozen mango slices half-dipped in dark chocolate. Exclusive to Costco, there are eight per package.

I would probably like the mango party but I don’t like fruit and chocolate together.

15. Costco Buckets

These five-gallon buckets are sold in packs of three.

I am not sure what the big draw is. They seem like…buckets….

16. Adidas Slides

A recommended option for footware for the spring are these sandals. The black and white sandals are Unisex and have an adjustable strap.

These sandals seem like a good purchase for the warmer months. They look very comfortable and easy to rinse off after a day at a park or beach

17. Skylight Calendars

These touch screen calendars can be used to organize many areas of life (e.g., chores; meal plans). They sync with other programs (e.g.,

Google Calendar).

I admit that I had to look this product up, as I had never heard of a skylight calendar. They found very helpful. However, I don’t use much technology for organization (I never even got into Google calendar) so it is not an item for me.

Will you be buying any of these items this spring and summer?
