More bigtime nonconference matches this week

Most eyes will be on St. Louis, site of this year’s national tournament final, where No. 1 Washington will host the nation’s premier event of the weekend. Joining Wash U this weekend will be No. 10 Wittenberg, which has defeated UW-No. 14 Whitewater and No. 8 St. Thomas; No. 19 St. Olaf, No. 7 Carthage and No. 10 Ohio Northern. All will play each other in a round-robin format.

With that as a primer, here are five big matches that I have circled for this week. See the rest on the MW/C Standings, Big Matchups (2010) page.
