This week we have an American League matchup with playoff implications. The Wildcats and Magic go head-to-head to see which team gets the edge in the chase for the postseason.

The Wildcats are 3-9 and have struggled a lot this season despite getting the number one overall pick. They currently have the worst record in the entire league. Though they do still have a chance to make the playoffs.

If they sweep the Magic, they finish at 6-9 this would put the Magic at 5-10. This would put the Wildcats in the playoffs regardless of the Cobras result against the Mallards. If they can take two of three games, they also have a chance to make the playoffs.

The Magic have the tiebreaker over the Cobras and a one game lead over them in the standings. So even if they get swept, they aren’t out of contention.

They also hold the tiebreaker over the Predators and might be able to sneak into the division title. A single win pretty much gets them in the playoffs though, cause even with the Wildcats winning the series 2-1, they would finish 5-10 to the Magic 6-9.

My prediction is Magic 2-1 for the series. Vote below for you think wins this week.
