To say the Big Blue are rolling is an understatement. They finally got some national recognition in the AVCA poll this week, and if they win today vs. Alma they’ll no longer be the area’s little secret. I’m thinking possible top-20. By the way, Millikin (18-2) is riding an 18-match winning streak, which ties a school record.

All-America candidates Kelsy England (25 kills) and Brittany Cardott (59 assists, 23 digs) once again led the way.

The Berg (17-3) faced Millikin with a 10-match winning streak of its own. Included in the Berg streak were wins over Hope, Calvin, Concordia-Moorhead and Thomas More.

Brief Millikin/Heidelberg recap

UPDATED 10/2: Millikin lost the first two sets but rallied to beat Alma and run its winning streak to 19. MU vs. Alma recap
