Produced by Elvis “Blac Elvis” Williams (Fergie’s “London Bridge,” Usher’s “Lil Freak,” and Beyonce’s “Ego”), Matt’s new single, “12:00 AM,” is an ode to his club audience with its slick production, booming beats, and sizzling vocals. His voice drips effortlessly over the synthy melodies and bumping rhythm, as he anticipates the moment he can finally get his hands on the one he loves. It’s pristine pop perfection wrapped in a club friendly aesthetics, delivering on its promise of feel good summertime vibes. It fits the video treatment, which plays out its own love affair with night life. Women in sparkly miniskirts make their way through the streets in search of that thumping underground oasis where they can lose themselves in the music. Between choreographed dance moves and Matt’s charismatic live performance footage, the video centers around a crowd coming together to celebrate living in the moment.
