Sit back, relax And listen to the 8-track I dig you like an old soul record

Yes, I’m diggin’ you I dig you like an old soul record baby Just sit back relax listen to the 8-track I dig you like an old soul record

Remember back in the day When everyone was black and conscious And down for the struggle Love brought us all together Sittin’ back and talkin’ Cultivating a positive vibe Blue lights in the basement Freedom was at hand and you could just taste it It was so was cool Diggin’ on me, diggin’ on you Everything was cool, yeah yeah My brothers were sayin’ “Ain’t no woman like the one I got, baby baby” Yes, I’m diggin’ you I dig you like an old soul record

Just sit back, relax and listen to the 8-track I dig you like an old soul record Now brothers base-in Running from the beat-down cops that be chasin’ I’m running out of time, I’m running out of patience In this war of the conscious mind I need some black-on-black love, baby yeah Slow grind for these changin’ times

Yes, I’m diggin’ you Yes, I’m diggin’ you Dig you like an old soul record

Beautiful brown bodies pimp, switch and sway To the soulful sounds, you gotta get up, you gotta get down ‘Cause it gives you good feeling You give me good feeling, yes you do, yes you do

Yes, I’m diggin’ you I dig you like an old soul record Yes, I’m diggin’ you I dig you like an old soul record

Come ‘ere Just sit back, relax and listen to the 8-track I dig you like an old soul record

Just sit back, relax and listen to the 8-track I dig you like an old soul record, yes I do, yes I do
