Andrew McCutchen sits at 299 career home runs. That number won’t change at least for the rest of the 2023 season. An injury to his Achillies tendon will require time in a walking boot. Thus, ending McCutchen’s year.

He hit .256 with 12 home runs and 43 RBI this season. Though who knows if McCutchen will resign with the Pirates again in 2024 as his contact is up and he becomes a free agent. I hope he does, so he can break that milestone with the team that he’s spent the longest part of his career with.
