Matt Chandler Talks of the Cost of Following Christ

The Thursday feature of the Worldly Saints blog will be sharing of a media clip (audio or video) that has either educated, equipped, provoked or entertained us in some way.

The current President of the Acts 29 Network and Lead Pastor of the Village Church in Dallas, TX is Matt Chandler. I have really come to appreciate this man’s passion for God and his straight-talk style of preaching over the years.

In November 2099, Chandler suffered a seizure and it was discovered he had a malignant brain tumor. But God intervened and healed him from what seemed like certain death.

In the below video, Chandler speaks about the certainty of suffering and how following God can end badly.
