Mass Effect 3

Mass Effect 2 was a vibrant and vast universe, with a narrative that’s simply as compelling and innovative as the best that the Playstation has to offer, but Bioware are promising to deliver the quintessential Mass Effect experience with their hugely anticipated third outing. One of the most captivating aspects, besides the intense battles were the characters and the intriguing interactions you had with each individual, and fans will be pleased to read that many of the characters from Mass Effect 1 & 2 will make their return to the Normandy alongside Commander Shepard, (just as long as they survived the suicide mission from the previous installment), as well as some new members to your crew. EDI the artificial computer will return to once again exasperate Joker, who coincidently also makes a comeback. The elusive man will again reappear as either an ally or an enemy depending on your decision at the conclusion of Mass Effect 2. David Anderson the reluctant political figure and soldier, Jake the psychotic inmate, Tali Zorah nar Rayya (not easy to say or spell), Garrus Vakarian, Kaiden Alenko, Urdnot Wrex, Legion, Liara T’Soni and Mordin Solus will all return, as will Ashley Williams, despite your involvement with Cerberus in the previous game. Although there is still no word on whether Miranda Lawson who established quite a following in Mass Effect 2 will return (crosses fingers).
Mass Effect 3 will also welcome the arrival of a new character to the Normandy, James Vega, who rather randomly was initially intended to be called James Sanders (nothing to do with the chicken man I assure you). Combat has been vastly improved and will present far more of a challenge than in previous installments due to the advanced AI, as well as more fluid character movement with added jumping and rolling abilities. Travelling the galaxy and discovering new planets is still just as relevant, including Ilium, Sur’Kesh the home world of the salarian’s, Palaven is a planet inhabited by the turians, and the more familiar locales of Mars and Earth. But all of these incredible considerations come at considerable price, as Mass Effect 3 wont be released until March 2012!
Will Mass Effect 3 catapult the series to even greater heights? If its possible for this pioneering series to go any higher?
