Marker cupcakes!

Hi friends! Acrylic markers are a lot of fun and they have been gaining popularity over the past decade. Now you can find just about any configuration in affordably priced sets. Here is a drawing I made with a variety of markers in my sketchbook.

My favorites are the wide nib markers, there is just something so fun, bold, and playful about them. I even bought some empty ones to fill with different colors as needed. I used the reference photo from the #foodpaintchallenge on Instagram for this which is perfect for Valentine’s month! Watch the video if you want to see it come together!

I included links to empty markers in case you don’t care for the colors in the sets available. The 15-10mm markers only come in limited colors, so you may wish to add more. I think it’s generally cheaper to buy the 3mm sets already made, and there are tons of colors in that size. Do you have any acrylic paint markers? I hope this inspires you to get them out and create!
