This is the best barbecue place in Texas, other than possibly Snow’s on Saturday morning before they run out.  The brisket is excellent — not quite up to Snow’s — and the sausage is outstanding — not quite up to Kreuz Market, but it is the best overall.  It’s open much more often than Snow’s, there’s plenty of room, and it’s just the best all-around.  It’s worth the drive from wherever you are.
