OVERALL KYLA HAD THE BEST UB SCORE TIM
Price beat Kyla by one tenth in the AA. We have our alternate as far as I am concerned. I would name Alicia as number 2 alternate. That means vault and beam are covered. We have one bar girl in Price and one floor girl in Price. What do we need more a bars girl or a floor worker?

Kyla nailed first two passes, Lets see her third. No upgrade but stuck thirds pass, Her best floor routine of the season but still no upgrade unless I missed something.

Gab by on beam: Missed her connection, wobble, another wobble on the full. Another wobble on the jump combination. Another wobble on punch front, Lots of bobbles in that routine and missed connections. VERY interested in seeing what she gets.

Kyla, on beam. Nailed first connection, missed second. So far, so good. Beautiful leaps, Punch front, stuck, amazing Sheep, Small step on dismount. That was great minus the one connection. 15.050 for Kyla
Finnegan is next on beam. They skipped her.
Mckayla on floor, Small step on 3.5 and second pass but good enough. OOB Both feet, short on double pike. Will it be good enough? The score will tell us all.
Only a 14.500. I still say she picks her because she will nail that Amanar but she got 5 tenths for both feet OOB. Price only beat her on floor by 4.50 tenths and they both do Amanar to end competition.
Nastia on beam: Can’t wait to see the gift she gets if she hits. She hit but it was a bit messy on her landings and the e4Year crowd loves it, she hugs daddy and hopefully, GOES AWAY🙂
Not too bad of a score. 14.950
Aly on floor: Small step back on first pass. Nailed the double front piked, Hit the messy triple. Really flew off her jump but it was wishy washy.lol
Price on floor. Kid can tumble. She needs dance lessons. The Double tuck needs to go, she is too talented for a 1990 move. I think we have our alternate or maybe even a team member.

They already set this up for Gabby. She is 1.350 ahead of Jordyn. Even if she falls they will give it to her. I really am done with this sport. Marta does what Marta wants.

Anna hit her bars. It looked pretty good , same iffy form and I hate that Khorkina but she hit so that was good.
Jordyn did not fall and she missed two connections. She stayed on but the fix has just been helped unless Gabby falls. She did have a bobble. A pretty big one.
Price on beam, hit so far but her form is iffy. Hit connection but I think the leap was short. 1992 pass. Great job for her. Really great but not in the 15’s if judges are being fair.

Sanity I guess we will know in a few if Kyla is still on this team because Price got a 15.300 on bars. That is 6 tenths better then night one. If Kyla’s score stays the same or goes down then I think she is out. IMO.
Maybe we will get to see Anna Li tonight?

The boy has company down stairs and he is kind of mad at me for being upstairs blogging with you people so please appreciate my mean, bitter spirit tonight. I told the boy look, EVERY FOUR YEARS you have to put up with this, deal and he said fine. Plus the upstairs is kind of far away from the internet box so I am not sure how well this is going to work but I will try.
Here are some quick hits from training. Nastia is plenty pissed and I expect her to hit her UB routine tonight. I don’t want that but I expect it.
According to above there will be no 1-2-3 alternates tonight. “Replacement” athletes will be named and they will fill in with who they need. Expect Nastia to be named if she hits her UB routine even once. Could Marta have set this up any better for Nastia to be added in?
More couch gymnast. I love how one person says Nastia was perfect and the other says she was a mess. Are these people watching the same warm up?
