S. Samek

The first of the awards for the 2024 LCS Summer split have been announced. We have the winner of the award for coaching staff of the split.

The award is going to Team Liquid and their coaching staff of Jake “Spawn” Tiberi, Haitham “Haitham” Algbory and Kim “Reignover” Yeu-Jin.

With Team Liquid Finishing 7-0 in matches and 14-3 in individual games, both being good enough to lead the LCS it’s hard to say that Liquid isn’t the top team in the LCS currently. They earned the top spot for Summer Split playoffs and a bye into the second round.

This comes after Team Liquid finished fourth in the Spring Split but made a run all the way to the finals where they went on to win the title. This qualified them for MSI.

The team has been improving sense Spring Split and that should be a testament to the coaching staff. Easy to see why they were named coaching staff of the split.
