The Lancaster Stormers went into last night’s game ready to tie the Atlantic League record with 15 consecutive wins. However, it took some late game heroics to get there.

The Stormers gave up a pair of runs in the bottom of the eighth inning to go from ahead 2-1 to down 3-2.

Yet a two-run home run in the top of the ninth by Jordan Howard would regain the lead for the Stormers. Kyle Johnson and Ted Stuka then combined to finish off a scoreless ninth inning as the Stormers held on to win. The win gave them 15 in a row, which ties the 2000 Somerset Patriots for the best mark in league history.

Tonight, Lancaster looks to finish off the sweep in Hagerstown and get to 16 in a row? Can they do it?
