Lamento as Águas (Lament of the Waters) – MATEUS ALELUIA

Mateus Aleluia (Cachoeira, September 25, 1943) is a Brazilian musician, singer, composer and researcher, a member of the extinct group Os Tincoãs.

Mateus Aleluia began his career in his hometown, Cachoeirinha, in the “Recôncavo Baiano”, and was leading figure in the conception of Os Tincoãs, considered to be the first vocal group in the history of Brazilian Popular Music to express – musically and linguistically – the cultural heritage of different African peoples.
