Lakeland digs it

Lakeland had a defensive match for the record books against UW-Superior on Friday, if the box score is correct. Led by Tess Myklebust’s 50 digs, LC had four players with 24 or more digs in the five-set loss. Add it all up and the Muskies had 179 total digs, which would be the most by any D-III team since St. Mary’s (Md.) had 184 in 2000. It would be the 12th highest D-III dig total in any scoring format. Oh, and LC also had 18 blocks in the match. Again, if the box score is correct.
