Just In Case You Missed It – November 4-17, 2018
“’Broken,’ ‘Authentic,’ ‘Surrender’: The Problem of Christian Jargon ” by Dan Doriani (The Gospel Coalition). Lots of good warnings here about using terms that aren’t necessarily biblical and are too cliché.
“Christian Liberty ” by Fred Malone (Founders Ministries). Take a look at this subject in Rome, Corinth, and Galatia.
“The Most Important Time to Go to Church ” by David “Gunner” Gundersen (The Gospel Coalition). We should keep this article “ready on a moment’s notice” for the Saturday nights or Sunday mornings we think, “I think I will stay home today.”
“Rejoice in the Wife of Your Youth (and Not-So-Youth) ” by Tim Challies. A thoughtful meditation from Proverbs 5.
“Updates from David Powlison ” (CCEF). As you may have heard, Powlison had Stage 4 pancreatic cancer. Be praying.
“Why Its OK That God Loves Himself the Most ” by Jonathan Leeman (Crossway). God is not egotistical; He is holy.
“Would You Move to Tulsa for $10,000? ” by Kyle Hinchey (Tulsa World). Interesting proposal if you are self-employed or working from home.
