Just In Case You Missed It: March 17-28, 2020
“10 Common Mistakes Biblical Counselors Sometimes Make” by Bob Kelleman (RPM Ministries). This has been an outstanding series for current and/or aspiring counselors.
“10 Ways in Which This Coronavirus Pandemic Can Be For Our Good” – This reiterates much of what we were saying on Sunday and what we should continually meditate on going forward.
“6 Reasons Why We Are Not Live Streaming Worship Services” by Nathan Rose (Liberty Baptist Church). While I don’t agree with the conclusion of not meeting, each of his 6 points are provocative and worth a church’s leadership consideration.
“Eschatology 101” by John MacArthur (Crossway). An adaptation from Biblical Doctrine on the purpose of studying last things
“Generosity in a Time of Hoarding” – Buying extra toilet paper may make you feel more confident in your own supplies, but might not be a way of loving your neighbor.
“Technology for High School Small Groups When You Can’t Meet in Person” – With kids being home for school for an extended time, why not use some of these online platforms for another way of “hanging out”?
“Why Study the Biblical Languages” (The Master’s University). This is where I did my undergraduate, and the Biblical languages professors really whet my appetite for studying God’s Word, and I believe you will see why in this video.
“Why You Should Pray Before Eating a Meal” by Erik Raymond (The Gospel Coalition). With the growing opportunity for social distancing and self-quarantining, there will be more opportunities for families to eat together and prayer together. Redeem the time!
