1. “Enslaved: A Theology of Addiction” by John Street (The Master’s Seminary). When John Streets publishes anything in the realm of counseling, I pay attention.

2. “I Pray God Turns the Church Upside Down” by Erik Raymond (The Gospel Coalition). As a Christian growing concerned about the rhetoric that Christians use for one another online, I am glad this was written.

3. “Is There a Difference Between Pastors and Elders? (I Timothy 3)” by Denny Burk (Crossway). They are interchangeable terms and yet highlight different functions of church leadership.
