My Favorite Podcast (or video) of the Week: “Farmer’s Almanac” (Stuff You Should Know)

Here are some blog posts worthy of your reading.

• “The Difference Between Optimism and Biblical Hope” by Ryan Higginbottom (A Small Work). They are certainly not the same. One can waver; the other cannot.

• “Great Commission Fatherhood” by Taigen Jooes (G3 Ministries). Being a dad is all about making disciples.

• “Greg Laurie Lists 3 Possible Reasons Why the US Isn’t Mentioned in End Times Prophecy” by Michael Gryboski (The Christian Post). Maybe there has been a great revival? Maybe we aren’t a superpower any longer? Or maybe we will be completely destroyed?

• “How to Pray for Someone Who Is Dying” by Tim Challies. Pray for salvation, submission, comfort and provision.

• “Why the Briefing?” by Caleb Shaw and Graham Faulkner (Southern Equip). Get a behind-the-scenes look at one of evangelicalism’s most popular podcasts.
