Juniata sweeps Trinity

No. 1 Juniata swept No. 18 Trinity in the best match of the three quarterfinal matches. Eagles All-America setter Steph Strauss set a group of impressive hitters led by Drew Barnhart (20 kills on 30 attempts). It was a termination festival by both teams, but Juniata looked really good. Not much of a net presence by either team. The Eagle back-row was far superior.

Juniata advances to the semifinals to face the winner of No. 2 UW Oshkosh vs. Christopher Newport.
