June/July 2020
It is November and I’m officially barely squeaking by with being able to say I “blogged” this month but hey, we’ll take what we can get. Truth be told it’s not like I haven’t been willing, and it sounds weird, but real talk: I just haven’t had the time. School + work is still eating up most of my time, and my weekly sit-down-and-write-some time has been spent writing my mom instead of updating here. I’ll get back to it soon, though; promise. Here’s a post for starters.
Summer! It is a blur now. Lots of days at home, ha. Work was hella easier! The kids were a lot noisier.
A certain someone had a birthday, we went with a tropical theme. Including one of his favorites, SPAM musubi. A treat we just started making around the time of the initial quarantine boredom, looking for something new-ish. But now we’re quite the SPAM musubi addicts.
Pete’s birthday was a dream of a day, so that afternoon we spent a lot of time outside. He got a slip-n-slide as one of his gifts, we put that thing to good use this summer.
Ta daaaa! Cake.
That’s about it, friends. My camera didn’t see a lot of time other than things already blogged (…or in the queue). We’ll have more to you soon though, I promise.
Peace, friends.
