June 2011 Update

After a long anxious period without useful rain, it would seem that the situation is now changing for the better. There has been a significant drop of both apples and plums which will enable those remaining to catch up. The current chilly weather means slow growing and it is unlikely that the fruit will mature earlier than usual. Most apple varieties appear to be carrying a useful crop. Blenheim Orange look fine but D’arcy Spice seem very few.
