June 2010 Update

Another chilly slow spring and at last some proper rain for the crops just setting on our fruit trees. After some nasty frosts during mid May some flowers were destroyed.. The apples and plums are expected to start early in August and local deliveries around Colchester should begin mid August. Between now and then we should have some seasonal vegetables available at the farm – beans mid july onwards and a few raspberries early in July.
