Joy is within you

According to Charles Wagner, author of “The Simple Life” we control our own emotional fulfillment as much as external circumstances do.  It seems to me that the current political messaging wants us to “take sides” and I think it’s more important to be nice to our friends and neighbors regardless of their views or anything else.  I’m watching less news, reading more, and focusing on building relationships.  I find reading is a great source of inspiration, exploration, and learning. I choose to be happy and I’m determined to improvise, adapt, and overcome all obstacles.  Simple right?
