Jordan McClure is an incoming men’s basketball player for the Carlow University Celtics and a native of Louisville, Kentucky. The Atherton High product loved the energy of longtime Pittsburgh area coach, Tim Keefer, as well as the opportunities that the Steel City had to offer overall.

A criminology major, McClure hopes to play the game of basketball professionally one day. After his playing days, he’d like to become an attorney and work in the athletic space.

So far in his basketball career, he’s become an LIT (Louisville Invitational Tournament) Standout, a Prep Hoops Kentucky Player of the Week nominee while playing for Louisville Storm AAU, and led Atherton in three point percentage at 37.4 percent as a high school senior.

His favorite memories from basketball so far include hitting a big shot in a national tournament with his AAU team to put them up one with less than 30 seconds left and playing in front of fellow Atherton product, Jack Harlow, during one of their games this past season.

Some interesting facts about McClure include he’s a twin, he’s a Christian, and he enjoys traveling the world.

Best of luck as you get ready for college basketball, Jordan! Thank you for the chance to highlight your commitment and success in basketball to date 🏀
