Jim and NIck’s — Homewood, Alabama

October 1, 2012:

We’re just back from a five-day trip to Alabama where we saw my new grand-niece Addie and the annual defeat of Ole Miss by the Crimson Tide. We managed to sample Full Moon, Moe’s, Jim and Nick’s, Dreamland, and Golden Rule. Here’s Jim and Nick’s.

• John Tanner’s Barbecue Page This is the Homewood location. I think it’s the best of their locations. The greens were a little sweet, but, as you can tell, the macaroni and cheese is really good.
