Jay Electronica- A Written Testimony Review

2020 has been quite a bizarre year. Within 3 months, We’ were in the beak of World War 3, Kobe Bryant and his daughter along with 9 other people die in a Helicopter crash, Dwayne Wade’s son transform into a girl, and now we have a killer virus out sweeping the world. 2020 has been a year of unexpectancy and when Jay Electronica after 12 Years FINALLY releases his debut album, Needless to say Hell maybe freezing over faster than we think.

YES this is the official Jay Electronica albums ladies and gentleman! And let me be the first to say that after years of anticipation, It lives up to the hype.  The fury Introduction featuring Minister Louis Farrakhan is the perfect opener for Jay Electronica to re introduce himself to a new era.  He’s also different from the typical “woke” emcee of the current era because he’s bringing FOI teachings into the mix. Teachings that made many higher ups uncomfortable in the past.

Whats also another surprise is that JayZ is on almost every song on this album so this is basically Watch the Throne 2. Jay Elec and JayZ have great chemistry on record and when Jay is motivated, He’s one of the greatest ever. You can peep “The Ghost of Soulja Slim”, Shiny Suit Theory, and the real personal APITA which ironically enough was recorded the day Kobe Bryant died.

Whats great about this album is while Jay’s presence is great, Jay Elec proves that the South has something to say and that he deserves to be mentioned as one of the top emcees of the modern era. The Track Ezekiel s Wheel and Fruits of the Spirit(even though he only had one verse) shows that Jay Elec didn’t really need Jay and that the Jay features were stimulus packages. He can definitely carry a whole album.

Overall this is the best album out right now.. JayZ showed that despite being “corporate”  he can take off the suit and tie and get busy with the best of them. Jay Elec’s theme and vision came to life in a time where life is at a standstill. We should salute him and Jay for temporary taking the peoples minds off whats going on.
