James and the giant peach (1996)

Director: Henry Selick

An orphan, who lives with his two cruel aunts, befriends anthropomorphic bugs who live inside a giant peach, and they embark on a journey to New York City.

I found this more of a cartoon than an animated feature, and quite kiddy-ish, actually. This was just way too far-fetched for an animated film. Not my cup of tea, I’m afraid.
