The small campus in downtown Pittsburgh felt like home and provided her with an athletic scholarship to continue playing the game she started at just four-years old.

The Achievement House Cyber Charter School student started playing travel softball at the age of 10 and has gone on to play for a collection of teams like Pittsburgh Riot, while currently playing for 3n2 National Softball.

So far in her career, she’s been named a Blue Chip Athlete, was a First-Team All-Conference performer in her freshman year of high school while playing for Quaker Valley, and she was on the All-Star select team for the Buckeye RecruitFest in July, 2021.

Continuing to play in college will mean making a whole new group of friends, one of her favorite aspects of softball. What she will be missing out on come college softball is being able to travel to a different place each weekend for a tournament, something she’s been doing for almost a decade.

Best of luck to you as you get ready for college, Izzy! Thank you for the chance to share your accomplishments in softball to date and your commitment to Carlow 🍀 🥎
