I want a Chellsie Memmel comeback

I am convinced Chellsie Memmel is training for a comeback. Look at her instagram. Besides the real skills she keeps posting for “Adult Gymnastics’ That girl is in amazing shape and her face is getting so skinny. She looks like someone who is training.

I am still bitter about her selling out back in 2012 but I think I might want this imaginary comeback almost, if not more than I want the Skinner one.

Wouldn’t it be fun if she went for that specialist role? Beam was one of her best events, back in the day. Maybe USAG, now that it isn’t being ran by, communist, Marta Karolyi might want to right some wrongs and allow Chellsie Memmel a chance to win the beam, specialist spot that’s current leader is Australian, Emma Nedov.

According to, the Balance beam situation, blog, there are, 4 competitions left to earn this spot.

5 = Cottbus #2, November 21-24, 20196 = Melbourne #2, February 13-16, 20207 = Baku #2, March 12-15, 20208 = Doha #2, March 25-28, 2020

Chellsie won’t be ready for Cottbus but if she attended the other 3 and won them all she would be in the running.

Lets be real, there is , NO WAY, USAG, wants an All Arounder competing against their gymnasts that make the team for a medal and the US’s worst event by far (besides, Simone) is clearly beam. Sure Chellsie’s form isn’t the best but when on the girl is a rock.

I doubt Chellsie’s shoulder is capable of sustaining a bar routine at this time in her life ( at least not consistently) so why not try a beam and floor specialist ( I think I read somewhere that even individual gymnasts get to compete AA ) and even if that was my imagination I say, Chellsie Memmel 2020

Jordan Bowers has retired from Elite. My memory of her is pretty limited . My only memory of her to be honest is when she was healthy she would win but she was always injured. Sounds like she made a smart decision.
