Last Thursday Thing 2 turned 8. We took a friend out to dinner at Chili’s instead of having a big party. The plan was to come back and have the ice cream filled flowers, but it was late and we were all so stuffed that we decided to do it Friday night, instead.

She requested NO cake. Instead, she wanted Chocolate Flowers filled with ice cream, topped with whipped cream, and a cherry on top. She ate the cherry and most of the whipped cream before we got the candle and camera ready. She liked it so much, she has already requested the same again for next year!
